“ Imagine all the culinary wonder of the Willy Wonka Factory (without all the slavery, child endangerment and diabetes) and then drop it in an environment that looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger would land his chopper in and sweatily manbond with his Alpha Bros (without the irritating hissing/stabbing/spearing alien issues). With me so far? OK then airlift in a Bao restaurant with flavors from all over the world. Meat options! Vegan options! (I'm in a mixed marriage so you will never know what this means to me). Did I even mention the quick and friendly service?!? I love this place so much I'm contemplating finding a dive hotel in Long Beach and just settling in for a three day Bao Bender. Like the Big Guy said "I'll be Back!" ”

“ Part of the Steelcraft container foodhall, this sweet little restaurant has lovely flavor choices. Perfect destination for carnivore/vegan eaters. They have one dedicated vegan bun and several that use the flavors and toppings listed with a slab of tofu (mixed fryer, if that’s an issue for some vegans). Very tasty, wide variety of flavors. The dedicated vegan bun is free from cross contamination and very flavorful. Buns are light and fluffy. Tried two tofu that were also flavorful, but the porabello mushroom bun stands out as perfect. Spouse quite enjoyed the meat buns he sampled. Very generous fillings ”

“ I heard about this place on social media and wanted to give it a try. The menu had a bunch of flavors to choose from so I picked the mix and match option. My favorite was the Khmer and Vietnamese buns. Overall, the flavors were rich and the buns were SO soft, I really enjoy it. I would def recommend! This place is a ghost kitchen so you order and pay on the self service screen. Most folks we’re doing take way order or pick up, but there is a common area you could sit and eat at. There is a bathroom for customer to use too. ”

“ Stopped at the SteelCraft food hall after our flight and this gem is a must! There is a place for everyone here but she chose I Luv Ur Buns- excellent decision! We got the “Orange You Yummy” and the “U Make Khmer Day” Loved every bite! The staff was sweet and patient with us trying to decide what we want. Would definitely come back!!! “ Y’all this food is to die for, the buns are so fluffy and delightful and the flavors are just amazing. I’ve had the satay bun, the hot chicken one, the spicy beef. Everything is delicious and so satisfying. Come for the three bun mix and match deal, you get three buns for $17, and you can get a stamp on your loyalty card and after ten you get a free three bun deal!! Please come support this business you guys, they’re so amazing and I want to see them stick around. ”

“ I love steel craft and was so excited to try this place! We got 2 seasonal Bao’s (Gua Bao and Char sui) as well as the U make kmer day as well and the crinkle cut fries. The Baos were amazing. The pork belly on the Gua Bao melted in the mouth and the Char siu was sticky sweet and everything was balanced by the pickles. The Bao itself was soft and fluffy. The crinkle cut fries were perfectly fried and crispy. Excited to go back and try more. There’s parking at steel craft as well as across the street from Steelcraft. ”

“ This place was very nice! They have so many options. We did the 3 mix and match and 2 dessert buns. The bulgogi and u make khmer day buns were my favorite! The place is attached to a bunch of other tiny restaurants. Has nice semi outdoor seating. ”

“ Steelcraft is a nice venue for multiple restaurants and I luv ur buns is quite a stand out! We tried the Buta Bao (1st pl), the Chicka Bao Wow BbQ (2nd fav), and the Orange U Yummy (3rd fav), fries (plain), and Pork and Chicken Gyoza. All the Bao were good (4.6-5/5) and the fries were tasty and fresh (not only) at 4.5/5 but the gyoza was lightly crispy on the outside and meltingly good inside (5/5). The Thai Iced Teas were a nice blend and paired well with the Bao. The Buta was so good because the pork belly was tender and tasty. Overall, I’d highly recommend I luv ur buns! ”
